Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use tin9.org. This statement applies to the whole website tin9.org.
How accessible is this website?
The website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA and the European standard EN 301 549. It is largely accessible. We checked it ourselves on 18 October 2026: with the keyboard only, with the accessibility tree that screen readers use, with text enlarged to 200 percent, at a width of 320 pixels and by calculating colour contrast.
What helps you on this website
- Every function works with the keyboard alone.
- The button "Accessibility" at the top opens settings for text size, high contrast, an easy to read font, highlighted links, stopped animations, a large mouse pointer and reading aloud. Reading aloud only uses voices installed on your device.
- Progress during uploads is announced to screen readers.
- There is a page in Leichte Sprache (easy German).
Known limitations
- Uploading needs JavaScript, because very large files are sent in many small parts. Downloading works without JavaScript.
- Dragging files onto the page only works with a mouse. The button "Choose files" does the same with the keyboard.
- The legal notice, the privacy page and the page in easy language are only available in German.
